It looks like bug 1547939 will stick, given how fast the other regressions came
in for bug 1337655.
We haven't seen any regression from this, and it seems unlikely that we'd want
this code back.
This blocks further improvements to the style system. Simplifying this code
allows me to remove all the conversion code for gradients.
Let me know if you think it's premature and I'm happy to wait, but I really want
to see this code gone :)

It does not represent `<length> | <percentage>`, but `<length-percentage>`, so
`LengthOrPercentage` is not the right name.

Most of types just derive it using proc_macro directly. Some of value
types need manual impl.
In my current plan, this new trait will be used in bug 1434130 to expose
values as well.

Much like we optimize to_ascii_lowercase.
This also fixes a bug in Servo where attr() rules with an unknown namespace
prefix are parsed, which is wrong.
This more concrete wrapper type can write a prefix the very first time something
is written to it. This allows removing plenty of useless monomorphisations caused
by the former W/SequenceWriter<W> pair of types.
Servo currently uses `heapsize`, but Stylo/Gecko use `malloc_size_of`.
`malloc_size_of` is better -- it handles various cases that `heapsize` does not
-- so this patch changes Servo to use `malloc_size_of`.
This patch makes the following changes to the `malloc_size_of` crate.
- Adds `MallocSizeOf` trait implementations for numerous types, some built-in
(e.g. `VecDeque`), some external and Servo-only (e.g. `string_cache`).
- Makes `enclosing_size_of_op` optional, because vanilla jemalloc doesn't
support that operation.
- For `HashSet`/`HashMap`, falls back to a computed estimate when
`enclosing_size_of_op` isn't available.
- Adds an extern "C" `malloc_size_of` function that does the actual heap
measurement; this is based on the same functions from the `heapsize` crate.
This patch makes the following changes elsewhere.
- Converts all the uses of `heapsize` to instead use `malloc_size_of`.
- Disables the "heapsize"/"heap_size" feature for the external crates that
provide it.
- Removes the `HeapSizeOf` implementation from `hashglobe`.
- Adds `ignore` annotations to a few `Rc`/`Arc`, because `malloc_size_of`
doesn't derive those types, unlike `heapsize`.
Fixes warnings from rust-lang/rust#44229 when `--enable-commonmark` is
passed to rustdoc.
This is mostly a global find-and-replace for bare URIs on lines by
themselves in doc comments.
This patch replaces the handwritten MallocSizeOf implementation for
PropertyDeclaration with a derived one, which gives much more thorough
measurement.
This requires (a) deriving MallocSizeOf for a *lot* of additional types (most
of which already have `derive(HeapSizeOf)` in Servo builds), and (b)
implementing MallocSizeOf for a few more types in the `malloc_size_of` crate.
These changes would significantly improve the reporting coverage for gmail if
it weren't for the fact that SpecifiedUrl isn't measured due to a lack of
clarity about its fields; that can be fixed as a follow-up once bug 1397971 has
landed.
The default linear gradient direction is `to bottom`. This correspondes to
`top` keyword in prefixed linear gradients. We should preserve the default value.
Convert -webkit-linear-gradient coordinate system for Stylo

This patch will fix the -webkit-linear-gradient direction issue in Stylo. I decided to NOT change the behavior of Servo, because according to the webcompat spec the webkit prefixed version should just be an alias of non-prefixed version. But we might want to remove support for old syntax like "-webkit-linear-gradient(top, ...)" (without "to"), because they are not in the spec anymore.
The Gecko layout system use different coordinate systems for prefixed and non-prefixed version, so I did a conversion, but for Servo I keep the modern version only.
Since I believe we should not support old syntax in Servo, so I'm not going to put the test in Servo. I'll submit my test cases to the Gecko wpt test instead.

We simply implement ToCss for Option<T>, printing nothing if the value is None,
and we then use SequenceWriter to skip writing of separators around empty parts.
