Don't build testbinding-related code by default (#37034)
Disabling the TestBinding-related bindings and implementations saves 2mb
in a release build. Also, we lost the related test preferences when we
turned the layout-2020 tests on, so the tests have all been failing for
a long time.

Testing: Existing tests in CI.

Eagerly define interfaces on non-Window globals (#36604)
These changes make us match Gecko's setup for how Window and non-Window
globals are initialized. Since Window globals are much more common than
Worker globals, using lazy interface definitions can be a useful memory
optimization at the expense of increased complexity for property
lookups.

Also adds the MayResolve hook for all globals, which is an optimization
for the JIT to avoid calling resolve hooks unnecessarily.

Testing: Existing test coverage on global interfaces should suffice.

Move ScriptToConstellationMsg to constellation_traits (#36364)
This is the last big change necessary to create the
`constellation_traits` crate. This moves the data structure for messages
that originate from the `ScriptThread` and are sent to the
`Contellation` to `constellation_traits`, effectively splitting
`script_traits` in half. Before, `script_traits` was responsible for
exposing the API of both the `ScriptThread` and the `Constellation` to
the rest of Servo.

- Data structures that are used by `ScriptToConstellationMsg` are moved
to `constellation_traits`. The dependency graph looks a bit like this:
`script_layout_interface` depends on `script_traits` depends on
  `constellation_traits` depends on `embedder_traits`.
- Data structures that are used in the embedding layer
  (`UntrustedNodeAddress`, `CompositorHitTestResult`, `TouchEventResult`
and `AnimationState`) are moved to embedder_traits, to avoid a
  dependency cycle between `webrender_traits` and
  `constellation_traits`.
- Types dealing with MessagePorts and serialization are moved to
  `constellation_traits::message_port`.

Testing: This is covered by existing tests as it just moves types
around.

constellation: Rename messages sent to the Constellation (#36341)
Messages that are sent to the `Constellation` have pretty ambiguous
names.
This change does two renames:

- `ConstellationMsg` → `EmbedderToConstellationMessage`
- `ScriptMsg` → `ScriptToConstellationMessage`

This naming reflects that the `Constellation` stands in between the
embedding layer and the script layer and can receive messages from both.
Soon both of these message types will live in `constellation_traits`,
reflecting the idea that the `_traits` variant for a crate is
responsible for exposing the API for that crate.

Testing: No new tests are necessary here as this just renames two enums.

libservo: Remove a couple EmbedderMethods (#36276)
- Remove `EmbedderMethods::get_user_agent_string`. This is now part of
the `Preferences` data structure, which should allow it to be
  per-`WebView` in the future.
- Remove `EmbedderMethods::get_version_string`. This was used to include
some data along with WebRender captures about the Servo version. This
isn't really necessary and it was done to replace code in the past
that output the WebRender version, so also isn't what the original
code did. I think we can just remove this entirely.

The idea with these changes is that `EmbedderMethods` can be removed
in a followup and the rest of the methods can be added to
`ServoDelegate`. These two methods are ones that cannot be added to a
delegate as they are used during `Servo` initialization.

Testing: There is currently no testing for libservo. These changes are
meant
as preparation for adding a suite of `WebView` unit tests.

servoshell: Move headless setting to ServoShellPreferences (#35377)
This is only used in servoshell, even though it was plumbed through
script previously. It's just about how the `RenderingContext` is set up,
which is something managed entirely outside of servo itself.

In addition, make the name of `servo_shell_preferences` in `app.rs` more
consistent with the rest of the codebase.

script: Use enums for event loop senders and receivers (#34896)
Previously, senders and receivers to different kinds of event loops (the
main `ScriptThread`, different types of workers) used a rust `trait`
mechanism to implement dynamic behavior. This led to having many unused
implementations of this `trait`. This change moves to using an `enum`
based approach for these senders and receivers and removes all of the
dead code.

In addition, to allowing for use of rust's dead code detection, it
simplifies the code a great deal. All of these generic senders and
receivers are moved to the `messaging.rs` file and given proper
documentation.

Finally, empty an `JSTraceable` implementation is made for all
crossbeam `Sender<...>`s to avoid having to manually skip them everytime
they are included in structs. The pre-existing empty `MallocSizeOf`
implementation is used more thoroughly.

Other unecessary wrappers around these senders and receivers are removed
as well.

script: Refactor channels in ScriptThread into receivers and senders (#34776)
Create two new data structures in the `script` crate to hold senders and
receiver:

- `ScriptThreadSenders`: holds all outgoing channels from the
`ScriptThread` including a channel to the `ScriptThread` itself. The
ultimate goal with this is to reduce duplication by giving a boxed
version of this this to `Window`s.
- `ScriptThradReceivers`: holds all incoming channels to the
`ScriptThread`. This isn't cloenable like the senders. This is used to
abstract away `recv()` and `try_recv()` methods used to make the
`ScriptThread` event loop easier to read.

In addition:

- The many duplicated `ScriptThread` self-senders for the `TaskManager`
have been removed and, in general, a lot of boilerplate is removed as
  well.
- Visibilty of all methods affected by this change is changed to
`pub(crate)` in order to take advantage of dead code detection. Some
dead code produced from macros is removed.
- Some conversion code is refactord into implementations of the `From`
  trait.
- The names of channels uses a standard "sender" and "receiver" naming
as well as trying to be descriptive of where they go in `ScriptThread`
  as well as `InitialScriptState`

script: Make timers per-process (#34581)
Before all timers were managed by the Constellation process, meaning
that they had to trigger IPC calls to be scheduled and fired. Currently,
timers are only used in the `ScriptThread`, so it makes sense that they
are per-process.

This change restores the timer thread functionality that existed before
avoided entirely. Completion is done using a callback that is sent to
the timer thread similarly to how fetch is done. This allows reusing the
existing task queue without making any new channels.

Move non-gfx things out of gfx_traits and create a base crate (#32296)
For a long time, `gfx_traits` has held a lot of things unrelated to graphics
and also unrelated to the `gfx` crate (which is mostly about fonts).
This is a cleanup which does a few things:

1. Move non `gfx` crate things out of `gfx_traits`. This is important in
order to prevent dependency cycles with a different integration between
   layout, script, and fonts.
2. Rename the `msg` crate to `base`. It didn't really contain anything
to do with messages and instead mostly holds ids, which are used
across many different crates in Servo. This new crate will hold the
*rare* data types that are widely used.

Details:

 - All BackgroundHangMonitor-related things from base to a new
   `background_hang_monitor_api` crate.
 - Moved `TraversalDirection` to `script_traits`
 - Moved `Epoch`-related things from `gfx_traits` to `base`.
 - Moved `PrintTree` to base. This should be widely useful in Servo.
 - Moved `WebrenderApi` from `base` to `webrender_traits` and renamed it
   to `WebRenderFontApi`.

d1715918f0 Set private reference for classic script
Web developers can use `Dynamic Import` in a classic script; thus, we
need to save the script's private reference so that we can reuse it when
we're going to fetch a dynamic import module for a classic script.

Besides, because it's possible to use different executing context for a
dynamic import module (like `dynamic-import/string-compilation-other-document.html` WPT test),
we can't initialize a module owner at the timing of `SetScriptPrivate`;
thus, if the private module script doesn't hold an owner, we'll use a
DynamicImport owner for it.

4506f0d30c Replace all uses of the heapsize crate with malloc_size_of.
Servo currently uses `heapsize`, but Stylo/Gecko use `malloc_size_of`.
`malloc_size_of` is better -- it handles various cases that `heapsize` does not
-- so this patch changes Servo to use `malloc_size_of`.

This patch makes the following changes to the `malloc_size_of` crate.

- Adds `MallocSizeOf` trait implementations for numerous types, some built-in
  (e.g. `VecDeque`), some external and Servo-only (e.g. `string_cache`).

- Makes `enclosing_size_of_op` optional, because vanilla jemalloc doesn't
  support that operation.

- For `HashSet`/`HashMap`, falls back to a computed estimate when
  `enclosing_size_of_op` isn't available.

- Adds an extern "C" `malloc_size_of` function that does the actual heap
measurement; this is based on the same functions from the `heapsize` crate.

This patch makes the following changes elsewhere.

- Converts all the uses of `heapsize` to instead use `malloc_size_of`.

- Disables the "heapsize"/"heap_size" feature for the external crates that
  provide it.

- Removes the `HeapSizeOf` implementation from `hashglobe`.

- Adds `ignore` annotations to a few `Rc`/`Arc`, because `malloc_size_of`
doesn't derive those types, unlike `heapsize`.
